- CAKE DESIGN 1 - JUST THE BASICS: This 6 week course is designed specifically for the beginning cake decorator and enthusiast who wants more than just a Wilton class. You will start with piping basics, stacking and move into fondant. You will learn how to create some beautifully designed celebration cakes! $175 / 6 weeks / Thursdays, September 16 - October 21 from 6:30-8:30pm. Registration in store.
- CAKE DESIGN 1 - JUST THE BASICS - EN ESPANOL (Diseno de Pasteles: Nivel Basico En Espanol) : This 6 week course is
designed specifically for the beginning cake decorator and enthusiast.
You will start with basics and move into fondant. You will learn how to
create wonderful celebration cakes, including how to construct a stacked
cake properly. $175 / 6 weeks / Saturdays, September 18 - October 23
from 1-3pm. Registration in store.

CLASS / REFUND POLICY: Class fees may be paid with credit, debit, or cash. No checks accepted. Class fees are due at the time of registration. There will be no drop-ins accepted, as supplies are purchased for registered students. All class supply fees are due at first class in cash (no credit, no debit, no checks accepted). Class fees are non-refundable 72 hours prior to start date of class. The number of paid students will determine if class is held, and a 4 person minimum is required. Should class be canceled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be given. If you are unable to attend a class you may arrange to take the class at another date, if space allows. Due to space limitations only registered students are allowed in class. Please be on time and prepared to take notes or participate in class. (Please note: Ro Z’s refund policy is different from Palomar College and from the City of Encinitas refund policy. Please check with their websites direct to receive their refund policy.) No video taping allowed at all. No cell phones in class. Please be considerate to others and refrain from talking during demonstration.

CONFECTIONERY ART SERIES CERTIFICATION: PALOMAR COLLEGE CONFECTIONERY ART SERIES CONSISTS OF 2 MODULES OF LEARNING THAT IS FOR THE BAKERY OWNER/PASTRY CHEF; CAKE DECORATOR; CATERER; AND CAKE DECORATING ENTHUSIAST. THIS PROGRAM IS A CERTIFICATION PROGRAM AND MANY AREAS OF CONFECTIONERY ARTS WILL BE COVERED.

Please note: You must have knowledge of how to bake a cake. This is not a baking course. Please refer to our baking course to learn how to bake. Most supplies are
included in this course, and you must sign up by August 31st! $560 / 6

- CONFECTIONERY ART SERIES - MODULE 2: This 7 weeks series, which meets twice weekly, will cover more gumpaste accents using molds, modeling chocolate, Isomalt, chocolate molds, constructing more intricate stacked and tiered cakes, and more. Prerequisite: Module is required. (Or previous Cake Design 1 AND 2) No other course equals Module 1. Most supplies are included in this course, and you must sign up by October 10th! $670 / 7 weeks / Monday and Wednesday: October 25 - December 15 / 6:30-8:30pm. Ages 18 and up.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR NO SHOWS ONCE THE CLASS HAS STARTED. IF YOU ARE REQUESTING A REFUND 48 HOURS PRIOR TO A CLASS, YOU MAY REQUEST THAT MONIES BE APPLIED TO A FUTURE CLASS.
