Private lessons are curriculum-based and tailored to the student's needs. Offerings include foundational techniques in cake decorating (buttercream, fondant, and/or royal icing); baking (all categories, except pastry); specialty (sugar flowers with gum paste or isomalt/sugar; wafer paper; chocolate); cupcake decorating; cookie decorating; how to start your business; dessert catering; and, healthy baking/cooking. Curriculum can include baking and decorating in one lesson! Take a look at the images in the gallery below for some ideas.
Did you know that a private lesson is more productive, more detailed, and more information is provided than in a publically offered class? One private lesson can be equivalent to 3 or 4 publically offered classes. For ideas, take a look at the gallery of pictures below the inquiry form at the bottom of the page. Most private lessons are 2 to 3 hours, depending on the project/curriculum, and are conducted in the student's home. Some project-based lessons require full day(s) lessons. Quotes will be provided based on curriculum for fee only, as supplies are extra. (Ro teaches ages ranging from middle school through adult. Elementary school age children are evaluated on a case by case scenario.)
